How to Use the DataTrac 8 Export Utility
Starting the Export Utility
Exporting a DataTrac File to the BrokerDocs.com Software

Go to Start → All Programs → LOS Export Utilities → DataTrac →
DataTrac Export to start the DataTrac Export Utility. If it's not in your Start menu,
it may not have been installed on your computer. Click here to
download and install it.
The DataTrac Export Utility prompts for additional data as it exports data from DataTrac to the
BrokerDocs.com software.

Type your login name and password for the BrokerDocs.com website. Check the Remember
my password box if you wish to save your login information.
If you do not have a BrokerDocs.com account, you can create one by clicking
the Sign Up Now link at http://www.brokerdocs.com.
Click the Next button to continue.

Search for and select a DataTrac file to export to the BrokerDocs.com software.
You can search for a file by its loan number or borrower last name. To do
this, check the appropriate Search by box, type the loan number or borrower
last name into the Search Value field, and click the Search button. You
may provide full or partial search values.
Highlight the file you want to import, and then click the Next button
to continue.

Select Wholesaler |

Select a wholesaler, relationship, and loan program. If you need to change this
later, you can do so in the BrokerDocs.com software.
Click Next to continue or Back to return to the Select File
screen. Click the Cancel button to stop without importing the file into the
BrokerDocs.com software.

Build Borrower Vesting |

Use the menus to build the borrower vesting as you would like it to appear on security
instruments and other documents.
If there are more than two borrowers, set the vesting for the first two and then click the
Add button. Then, set the vesting for the remaining borrowers, and click the Add
button when completed.
After adding the borrowers, specify the final vesting and click the Add button.
Review and edit the vesting as needed, and then click the Next button to continue.
Click Clear to reset the vesting and start over, Back to return to the Select
Wholesaler screen, or Cancel to quit without importing the file.

You are ready to export your file from DataTrac and import it into the BrokerDocs.com software.
Click Finish to continue. The loan file will open automatically in the
BrokerDocs.com software, where you may edit it before ordering documents. See
BrokerDocs.com Input Help Screens
for details.
The Back button will return you to the Build Borrower Vesting
screen, and the Cancel button will exit without importing the file.
